Sigma President, Jocelyn Chan, begins Sigma Holdings by founding the Sigma Auto division, which now brings nearly a decade of success in motorized equipment retail and has become a trusted across Eastern Canada. Having an initial portfolio including six of the country’s most respected motorized equipment brands: Cub Cadet, Wood-Mizer, Bear Cat, Bluebird, ECHO, Shindaiwa, and Troy-Bilt, all operating across New Brunswick.

Sigma Holdings purchases Hebert's Marine & Prop Repair, serving South-Eastern New Brunswick's marine and small-engine repair-needs since 1984, with a four technician repair facility, and bilingual service. Hebert's provides warranty repairs for top brands including Kohler® and Briggs & Stratton®. 

2020
​Sigma Holdings Mathnasium tutoring centre in Moncton, NB is opened 10.10.2020 at 10:10AM, the day after the province entered COVID-19 lock-down procedures. While Mathnasium remained open during lock-down periods, as it is an essential service, business was suppressed initially given the pandemic. Regardless, Sigma President, Jocelyn, remains the longest serving Mathnasium franchisee in Atlantic Canada, as well as the only one, following the shuttering of Halifax. Today, Mathnasium of Moncton of is the top facility for math learning in Atlantic Canada and has helped over 500 students to overcome their anxiety toward math and then master it.​​

Sigma Holdings has been a investor of Quest Capital since 2020, partnering in its mission to develop and manage modern, community-focused residential and mixed-use real estate across the Greater Moncton Area. Operated under the Quest Properties brand, the platform has become known for setting a new standard in quality housing rooted in design, comfort, and lifestyle.
Quest’s growing portfolio includes 13 active properties—with more in development—such as Ékinox, Vizion, Lakeview Villas, Ali Habitations, and Origine Village, all located in key corridors of Dieppe and Moncton.​

Jocelyn Chan's Sigma Holdings partnered with Michael MacGillivray (CEO of Century Auto) to also be CEO of Sigma Auto and take the company from small-tractor dealer to automobile dealer.
